Q & A

What is required to book my wedding date?

Due to the many inquiries we receive, we require a 50% deposit along with a signed contract to reserve your wedding date. Booking a trial does not hold your wedding date.

Should I book a hair and makeup trial?

Definitely! We encourage all brides to book a trial. This is our opportunity to get to know you, your style, and your vision. Have your inspiration pictures ready and bring your veil or any hair accessories you might want to incorporate in your hair. We will pop champagne for you and your guests in our studio, while you relax and we get to work perfecting your dream bridal look!

What makes you stand out from other makeup artists and hair stylists?

We are unique because we never double book our stylists. Your hair and makeup team is solely focused on you on your wedding day! We know the importance of staying on schedule for your photographer and videographer so they can capture all the memories! We reach out to those vendors beforehand and create a hair and makeup schedule that works well with your overall timeline. Our team consists of award winning and published hair and makeup artists with decades of combined experience. Our artists are constantly expanding their expertise. The beauty industry is always evolving and we pride ourselves on staying on top of the latest techniques and trends.

What do you bring to my venue the day of my wedding?

Imagine waking up on your wedding day alongside your bridesmaids to a salon inside your room! Our friendly team of artists will greet you and be ready to work. Everything from salon chairs, tools, to professional lighting will be provided. Enjoy every moment of your special day, leave the traveling to us!

Will my bridal party and I have to wake up early on my wedding day if I have a large bridal party?

Long gone are the days where you would have to wake up at 5:00 am to have enough time to get everyone ready. We assign a minimum of two stylists so you and your girls get ready in a reasonable amount of time. We coordinate with you, your photographer, and your wedding planner to provide a wedding day hair and makeup schedule that works well with your overall timeline.

Do you only service bridal parties?

No, we also provide services for engagement shoots, boudoir, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers and more! We are happy to accommodate any special occasion.

When should I color and cut my hair before my wedding?

We suggest touching up color one week before your wedding. If you are planning a dramatic change we recommend you try it at least 4-6 months before your wedding.

What can I do to prep my hair and skin?

Skincare is such an important part of bridal beauty prep. Visit our spa Adore Aesthetics for a relaxing facial with our esthetician and she will set you up with a skincare regime to address any concerns and get you on the path to radiant skin for your big day.

We suggest washing your hair 1-2 days before your wedding. Avoid using deep conditioning treatments the week before your wedding as this can weigh your hair down. If you have unwanted texture or curl and you would like it to be smooth or straight for the wedding day, we recommend blowing your hair out or straightening it before your bridal hair service. If you would like to incorporate your nature curl, we recommend prepping your hair by using your normal curl regiment. The hairstyle will then be created using your desired texture as the base for your style. If you would like us to style your natural curls using our products and curl method, please let us know in advance and we would be happy to accommodate.

How do you collect payment?

We want the wedding process to go as smooth as possible. In order to do so we request all balances are paid 30 days before event day to ensure everything is stress-free. This will allow you to pay your stylist without the hassle of gathering everything the day of the wedding. A 50% retainer is collected at time of booking.

Do you accept separate payments from bridesmaids?

No. As the bride you pay all deposits and final balances, and it is your responsibility to garner payment from your bridal party.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my package after I book?

You can always add guests to your package, we only request that the final guest count is confirmed a month prior to your wedding date. We cannot downgrade your package but those extra services can be transferred to another guest or split between two guests.
